On Friday, our school participated in a fundraiser to raise money for the Children's Cancer Partners. Students could pay $1 for a strip of tape to tape Mr. Whitener to the wall. We were able to raise $194!! Stacey and Ron Archer, parents of Mayson Archer who is a 2020 DHS graduate that sadly passed away from cancer a couple of years ago, donated $200. I appreciate all of our students chipping in for such a noble cause!!

We had a flexible schedule today which allowed our teachers the opportunity to do special activities with groups of students. For example, Mr. Scronce was able to meet with all of our juniors to do test preparation for Biology and he was able to meet with all freshmen at the same time to prep for AP Environmental Science.
